In 2011, husband and wife team Joseph Bogan and Crystal De Luna-Bogan founded The Grilled Cheeserie, a food truck and melt shop that combines everyone’s favorite nostalgic food with a fine dining approach. Through our Mighty Oak program, the duo received office space and 360 degrees of support in the areas of human capital, marketing, and cash flow management. Upon graduation, their team gained 23 new and hard-working team members and their revenue increased from $500,000 to $2.4 million. They are now considered Nashville’s favorite food truck with three brick-and-mortar locations.

They have been featured on “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” and “Eat Street”, which are two of the Cooking Channel’s most popular T.V. shows. Additionally, they were voted Best Food Truck in The Nashville Scene, listed #3 on Mobile-Cuisine’s Top 10 Most Influential Food Trucks list, and received the 2016 Chairman’s Award during NBIC’s 30th Anniversary Gala.
