CEO ROUNDTABLES

David Wilson will lead a discussion on Strategic Marketing Planning for the month of March.  David is a marketing strategist with over two decades of business experience, and lots of humor as he helps participants understand the critical importance of developing a strategic marketing plan.

The CEO Roundtables are held monthly on the second Thursday from 12:30pm – 2:00pm.  Seating is limited so you must pre-register.  The CEO Roundtables are free.

NBIC National Women’s Month

NBIC NATIONAL WOMEN’S MONTH

March is National Women’s History Month, a time to celebrate the years of hard work to achieve equity goals for females and to ensure the history of American women will be recognized and celebrated in communities and workplaces throughout the country.  In celebration of Women’s History month, we would like to congratulate two of our women, who have already received public recognition from the Nashville Business Journal and by Nashville Electric Service.

Michelle Perry, Emerald Resource.  The Nashville Business Journal recently published their 2015 Book of Lists.  The Book of Lists provides listings of hundreds of the hottest area companies in their fields, by ranking. Emerald Resource was ranked 15th on the list of Top 100 Women-owned businesses in Nashville.  Michelle, a disabled veteran of the first Gulf War, left the Army, went back to school to earn both bachelor and master degrees, and then started her business.  Emerald Resource LLC is a construction, technology and telecommunications service, solution and installation firm specializing in turnkey solutions from end to end.

Brenda Odom, U-Kno Catering.  Open Nashville Electric Service’s 2014 Annual Report to pages 12-13 and who do you see? Brenda Odom, the president of U-Kno Catering and a 2014 graduate of NBIC. In 2014, U-Kno signed a five-year contract to provide cafeteria services at NES’ headquarters and recently accepted a three-year contract renewal.
